Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Specific LLC collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you use Porch.
Effective date: September 23, 2026
1. Information we collect
Porch is a workspace service for agencies, coaches, consultants, their teams, and their clients. Depending on how you use Porch, we may collect:
- Account information, such as your name, email address, password credentials, organization details, and account preferences.
- Workspace content, such as projects, tasks, messages, notes, files, comments, and other information you or your organization choose to place in Porch.
- Billing information needed to manage a paid plan. Payment card details are handled by Stripe; we generally receive transaction, plan, and billing-status information rather than your full card number.
- Technical and usage information, such as browser type, device information, log data, approximate location derived from IP address, pages or features used, and security events.
- Communications you send to us or that we send to you about your account, support, product updates, and service operations.
If you use Porch through an organization, that organization may control the workspace content and may manage your account, access, and deletion requests.
2. How we use information
We use information as reasonably necessary to:
- provide, operate, maintain, and improve Porch;
- create and secure accounts, authenticate users, and prevent fraud, abuse, and unauthorized access;
- process payments, manage plans, provide support, and communicate about the service;
- understand service usage, troubleshoot problems, and develop features;
- comply with law, enforce our agreements, and protect the rights, safety, and property of Porch, our users, and others; and
- carry out another purpose described when the information is collected or with your direction.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not use workspace content to create public marketing material without appropriate permission.
3. How we share information
We may share information with:
- Service providers that help us operate Porch, including Amazon Web Services for hosting and infrastructure, Stripe for payment processing, and Resend for transactional and account email.
- Your organization and workspace members when your account is managed through an organization or when you choose to share content in a workspace.
- Professional advisers, authorities, or other parties when reasonably necessary to comply with law, respond to legal process, prevent harm or abuse, or protect rights and safety.
- A successor or buyer in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, sale of assets, or similar business transaction, subject to applicable law.
Our service providers may process information on our behalf and may have their own privacy notices. Their services include infrastructure, payment processing, and email delivery.
4. Retention and security
We keep information for as long as needed to provide Porch, maintain business and financial records, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, meet legal obligations, and protect the service. When an account or workspace is closed, we may retain limited information in backups or records for a reasonable period before deletion or anonymization.
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No internet service, storage system, or transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure, and you use Porch at your own risk.
Porch may process information in the United States and other locations where we or our service providers operate. Those locations may have privacy rules different from those where you live.
5. Your choices and rights
You may update certain account information through Porch or contact us to request access, correction, deletion, or other assistance. We may need to verify your identity and may direct organization-managed users to their organization administrator.
You can unsubscribe from non-essential marketing messages using the link in the message. We may still send service, security, billing, and other transactional communications that are necessary to operate your account.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional privacy rights. To make a request or ask a privacy question, contact us at [email protected].
6. Cookies and similar technologies
Porch may use cookies, local storage, and similar technologies that are necessary to keep you signed in, remember preferences, protect accounts, and understand basic service performance. Blocking these technologies may prevent parts of Porch from working properly.
7. Children
Porch is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us so we can review and take appropriate action.
8. Changes and contact
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page and change the effective date. Your continued use of Porch after an update means the updated policy applies to your use going forward.
Questions about privacy can be sent to [email protected]. Porch is operated by Specific LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company in the United States.
